最近,航运巨头马士基宣布,成立马士基航空货运公司,从事航空货物运输。
航运巨头不在海上发力要“上天”,究竟为啥?
先看官方表态。马士基表示,集团将以更多的方式为客户的供应链提供动力与保障。换句话说,就是要海陆空全方位发展,提供综合物流服务。
转型的背后,其实也有不得不“顺势而为”的无奈。受新冠疫情影响,航运看似很火,价格大涨,供不应求。但航运公司其实压力真的不小,港口拥堵、劳动力短缺让整个运输环节的效率大打折扣,越来越多的承运人开始通过其他方式保障供应链稳定,航空货运就是重要的一块。
除了马士基,还有多家航运巨头也盯上了这块蛋糕。马士基的老对手法国达飞海运集团也宣布成立达飞航空,进军航空货运市场。
随着航运巨头展开“空中竞技”,全球航空货运供需不平衡的矛盾有望缓解。不过,对于企业而言,对手越多,竞争也就越激烈。
