名城苏州对话Allen校长-2500sz.com interview with Mr. Allen

 

上周我校的校长Chris Allen先生接受了名城苏州留学频道的访谈，Allen先生主要根据中国家长比较关心的几个问题，对苏州工业园区康乐斯顿外国语学校，IB课程, 大学录取情况,师资力量，在校生和外国学生交集,学校新校舍项目等方面做了详细介绍。

Last week our head of school, Mr Allen was interviewed by 2500sz.com. Mr. Allen introduced SSIS Western Academy and spoke about the IB programme, university acceptances, SWA teachers, how SWA students interact with foreign students, and the school new building.

Allen校长也提到苏州工业园区康乐斯顿外国语学校期待新生们加入我们的4年制IB课程。

Mr. Allen also spoke about how SSIS Western Academy is excited to accept new students into our 4- Year academic programme.

苏州工业园区康乐斯顿外国语学校 (SWA) 目前Year 1有两个班级，但是2016/2017学年第一学期名额十分有限，因此各位符合我校入学水准的学生请尽早提交申请。申请我校的学生必须完成九年制义务教育（即完成初三学业）。请注意，所有申请我校的学生都将从Year 1开始就读。如果学生的入学考试成绩特别优异，可以从Year 2 开始就读。

SSIS Western Academy currently has two homeroom classes in Year 1 of the programme. Limited spaces are available for students who would like to apply for Semester 1 of the 2016-2017 school year. Therefore, we welcome applications from any students who meet our entrance requirements. In order to join the programme, students must have completed Grade 9 in the local school system. Please note, all prospective students will apply to join Year 1 of the programme. If a student does well enough on the placement assessment, he/she may be offered a place in Year 2 of the programme.

我校下一次入学考试的时间是在5月21号周六，所有学生都将按要求参加入学考试。入学考试科目包括：英语，数学（英文试卷）以及中文。只有英语和其它学科都达到标准要求的学生才会被录取。

Our next entrance test is going to be on Saturday, 21 May. All students are required to undertake a placement assessment, which includes English, Mathematics and Chinese. Only students who meet the required English and academic standards will be offered a place.
